Rather unexpectedly, as we arrived in Berlin we had the problem of where to get off the train.
We'd bought a ticket from St Gallen, Switzerland to "Berlin (tief)" and had learned that "tief" meant
the lower-levels of the main train station.
However, as we approached the city, we examined carefully for the first time the printed itinery that
had been left on every seat:
rather than stopping at "tief" the train went on to Gesund-Brunnen
Where was Gesund-Brunnen? Was it closer to our destination than Haupbahnhof-Tief?
We scurried to find out.
We are really enjoying our bicycles.
