When we were in Israel we learned about Narodichi, the village in Ukraine where Gerry's mother and most of her siblings were born. When we were in Narodichi, we learned about a family of Stotlands who were the last Jews to live in Narodichi and who had left only six months earlier to live in Zhytomyr. When we were in Zhytomyr visiting with Boris Stotland and his family, we learned about his brother Naum who was living in Kiev. And so we called Naum and went to visit him and his wife Lucia.
