Gerry in the garden of Na-ama's Apt

While in Darlington Jan searched for apartments for us via the web. Starting with the Jersusalem Post online she found several good prospects. We almost chose one when we decided to search a bit more. Eventually we got in contact with the Abend's and they sent us the following describtion. It was accompanied by six photographs and we were sold.

Below is the description that we found on the web. After we got to know the place we found it a very accurate description. We really enjoyed the garden of Na'ama's Garden Apartment. We ate lunch there almost every other day. It was about a ten minute walk for us to the Ben Yahuda area and about 15 minutes to the Jaffa gate of the Old City.

Our apt. is situated in a prime location. Surrounded by picturesque neigborhoods, parks, near the Old City, the Great Synagogue, city center, city hall,the Jer. Theatre, President’s residence, American, French and other consulates, old churches and monasteries, business, restaurants, cafes as well as famous landmarks and attractions of Jerusalem.

Quiet, cosy and private, it is off the street, surrounded by a lush garden and other neighboring gardens.

There are 2 bedrooms, a living room, and a fully equiped kitchen. All the dishes are milk. Meat dishes (disposable) and cooking pots can be provided.

One bedroom has a double bed, the other has 1 single bed and 1 bed for a child or a teenager. A baby coach can be provided.

The living room sofa is also a pull-out bed.

Bedrooms are Air-conditioned.

2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub/shower.

Washing machine and drier.

Broadcast and Cable TV. 

City public transportation stops just around the corner on Keren Hayesod St.and on nearby King David St..

Parking is about $1 per hour between 8am - 7pm (free on Friday afternoon and Saturday). There is also some free parking space 5 minutes walk away.

For short term rent the price is US$100 per day or US$ 1,800 per month. 

Telephone & Electricity are charged according to metered bills.

Please note that prices may change from time to time and it is advisable to make reservations as early as possible especially for the summer, holidays, etc.

The apartment is also available for long term rent, e.g.: 6 month, a year, etc.. 

Limousine service from the airport by a reliable person can be provided.
