Lago Lajoa is the largest lake in Honduras. It is also one of the wettest places, kept green by plentiful, year-around rainfall. On the northwest corner of the lake is the Los Naranjos archeological site. Less than 15 km further north is Catarata Pulhapanzak, an impressive 66 meter waterfall.
