St Augustine, Florida is the oldest surving European settlement in the United States and was our first stop in Florida. After what seemed endless winter and endless cold (not really all that bad for Gerry, but a misery for Jan) we found some "not cold" weather in Virginia. But only in Florida did we find some HOT weather.

After two months that stretched into three in our nation's capital region we finally said goodbye to it. It was with reluctance, since we enjoyed everyday so much. In fact, we think in DC we have found a place (one of the many places) where we might retire to.
