We managed to make two visits to the Louvre. We'd been there several times before but we were blown away by it again. This was partially because there have been major renovatons in the last few years and they had now been completed. The 15-17th century Italian art galleries amazed us for their extent. The "salons" in the old quarters of the Finance ministry were also wonderful. And then the new sculpture courtyards were exquisite. If there had not been so many other fine things to do in Paris we would have gone once a week.
