Myra's Rock Tombs

We spent barely 24 hours in Myra, not our favorite place in Turkey. We were disappointed to learn that we couldn't get anywhere near the rock tombs that Myra is famed for. Even the existence of a small theater that we did have access to didn't compensate for the fact of having to view the tombs from afar.

Our second disappointment was the accommodation available. It just wasn't the great value we found elsewhere and we felt that the hotel didn't live up to LP's evaluation. So, after a half day visit to the tombs and an early morning visit to Kekova we hurried on to Kas.
